Gulp Missle
Passive Ability
When Cramorant uses a move, it catches some form of prey in its mouth. Afterward, when Cramorant receives damage, it spits the prey out as a counterattack at an enemy. The type of prey and effect differ based on the user’s HP.
Attack
Basic Ability
Whirlpool Move 1
5sArea
Creates a whirlpool that deals damage to enemies in the area of effect. The area of effect slowly shrinks, but the damage dealt slowly increases. Just before the whirlpool disappears, it decreases the movement speed of enemies in the area of effect for a short time. The user can also catch Arrokuda or other prey by entering the whirlpool.
Whirlpool deals a lot of damage for a basic move but enemies can simply get out of the move to avoid the majority of its damage since it deals more damage as time passes by.
Even so, Whirlpool is great for knocking out wild pokemon and for stealing them from enemies since it deals a lot of damage.
Whirlpool can be a potent tool to knock out enemy pokemon if combined with a hindrance like Snorlax’s tackle.
Cramorant refreshes his boosted attack by entering the pool.
Whirlpool Upgrade Options
Surf
8sHindrance
Attacks with a wave that deals damage to enemies. Once the wave has traveled its full distance, it returns the way it came, dealing damage to enemies once again and pulling them back with the wave. The user can also catch Arrokuda or other prey by entering the wave.
When the first wave hits enemies, it also decreases their movement speed for a short time.
Surf is a ranged move that deals damage twice to enemies. Once going towards the target direction and again when it goes back.
The returning wave pulls enemies with it and Cramorant can heal himself and refresh its boosted attack by catching the returning wave.
Dive
1.5sDash
Changes the designated area into a puddle and has the user dive to that area, dealing damage to enemies and shoving them when they’re hit. The user also catches Arrokuda or other wild Pokémon as they emerge from the puddle. A maximum of 3 uses can be kept in reserve for this move.
Increased damage.
Dive is a dash move that can store up to three charges so you can spam it to move across the battlefield.
Dive is best used together with Air Slash because it deals more damage the closer Cramorant is when it is cast.
Dive instantly refreshes Cramorant’s boosted attack so remember to use your basic attack every after cast of Dive to make full use of it.
Feather Dance Move 2
8sHindrance
Decreases the Attack and movement speed of enemies for a short time.
Feather Dance deals no damage but it debuffs affected enemies by reducing their attack and movement speed.
Feather Dance Upgrade Options
Hurricane
9sRanged
Creates a fierce wind, dealing damage to enemies that get caught in it and throw them.
Increases the user’s movement speed for a short time.
Hurricane is an area hindrance that throws enemies that get caught in.
It deals moderate damage but it is a good move to do in combination with Surf since enemies would have less chance of escaping both waves of Surf if they are hit with Hurricane first.
Air Slash
5sRanged
Shoot out many blades of air while moving backward to create distance. Deals damage to enemies in the area of effect and reduces this move’s cooldown when it hits.
Restores the user’s HP every time a blade of air hits an enemy.
Air Slash is a ranged damage move that shoots out many air blades and it throws Cramorant backward when cast.
Air Slash is categorized as a ranged move and it can deal damage from a distance but it is best used in the melee range so that the air blades will hit only one enemy and it will deal a large amount of burst damage that way.
Air Slash is best used after Dive so you will instantly be near your target after casting Dive so Air Slash can be used in melee range.
Air Slash’s cooldown is reduced when it hits enemies and once upgraded into Air Slash+ it also heals Cramorant when it hits enemies.
Gatling Gulp Missile Unite Move
Ranged
Unlocks at level 9
Creates a puddle at the user’s current location. The user continuously uses its mouth to grab Arrokuda from the puddle and spits them out to attack the nearest enemy. The user cannot move or use other moves while this move is in effect.
Gatling Gulp Missile turns Cramorant into an immobile artillery pokemon capable of dealing so much damage from a distance but at the same time, it prevents him from moving.
Gatling Gulp Missile makes Cramorant’s attacks all boosted attacks, dealing so much damage with each attack.
It also deals more damage when Cramorant is low on HP because of how his passive works.
Cramorant cannot move or use moves while Gatling Gulp Missile is active so this Unite move is best used when near allies because you are vulnerable while this Unite move is active.

Wise Glasses is the Held item that grants the highest amount of special attack bonus so Cramorant can deal more burst damage with it.
Choice Specs adds bonus special attack to its user’s next basic attack after hitting an enemy with a move. With this Held item, Cramorant will be able to do more burst damage with its combo.
Buddy Barrier grants a shield to the user and to a nearby lowest HP allied Pokemon. This will help Cramorant use its Unite move to the fullest and prevent it from being burst down by enemy Pokemon while Gattling Gulp Missile is active.
X Attack increases the damage output of the pokemon that uses it for a short duration. Activating this battle item will allow you to deal so much damage that even defenders would have a hard time surviving your onslaught, especially when combined with your Unite move.
Build Name: Dive Slash
Dive Slash turns Cramorant into an assassin-type Speedster. Air Slash deals more damage in melee range and Dive helps Cramorant get into melee range and easily get out afterward.
Eject Button is used in the Dive Slash build because it is a risky build that requires Cramorant to be near enemies. The Eject Button will be used to escape when Cramorant is stuck in a dangerous situation.
Cramorant Gameplay Guide
Cramorant is an attacker that can dish out a lot of damage per second or burst damage depending on the move or combo its trainer uses. Cramorant is usually played in the Top or Bottom lane but it can also be played in the middle lane if you prefer to.
Be careful tho, before Cramorant acquires its upgraded move, it is extremely vulnerable to ganks and invades so avoid fights and if possible, do not use Cramorant against early game invaders like Lucario, Absol, and Zeraora.
Cramorant has one of the strongest damaging move at level 1 in its Whirlpool. Use it to steal wild Pokemon from enemies over and over again.
Its other basic move, Feather Dance seems useless at first as it deals no damage but it can be used defensively so that you and your lane partner won’t receive much damage when the enemy tries to fight you. Furthermore, using Feather Dance on enemies while contesting wild Pokemon will increase the chances that you are the one you will land the last hit on the wild Pokemon.
Cramorant’s boosted attack deals significantly more damage and it deals damage to an area. The boosted attack happens every fourth attack. Turn on the Boosted Attack Gauge in the settings so you’ll be able to determine when the boosted attack will happen without counting manually so you can plan your attacks accordingly.
Cramorant’s passive allows him to do counterattack on enemies that hit it with a boosted attack after using a move. The lower the HP of Cramorant, the stronger the effect of the counterattack becomes. One way to utilize Cramorant’s passive is to use one move as you are going to get hit then use the other move after so you’ll be able to activate the passive at least twice. This tactic is best done when you are sure that you won’t be able to quickly burst down the enemy.
What is the role of Cramorant when taking objectives?
Cramorant’s role when taking objectives is to be a backline nuker. This means that Cramorant should be staying behind allies while constantly attacking and looking for opportunities to knock out enemies.
Cramorant’s moves deal some serious damage so when Drednaw, Rotom, or Zapdos’ HP drops below 30%, start saving your moves and combo it when it reaches about 10% to serious the objective.
Middle and Late Game
Using the Hurricane Surf build
This moveset is great for bursting down enemies from the backline. Hurricane controls enemies on a medium area and Surf is a burst damage move that deals damage twice and resets the boosted attack of Cramorant.
Stay close to your defenders or supports and look for opportunities to burst down enemies or to secure objectives.
Cramorant is able to burst down most attackers and speedsters using this build but you have to be careful when using this build because it lacks mobility aside from the Eject Button.
Using the Dive Slash build
This moveset turns Cramorant into a speedster capable of assassinating enemies. Cramorant is still built as a squishy attacker so you have to be careful in the battles you choose. Wait for enemies to use their hindrance moves if possible.
Your role is to kill the enemy’s strongest damaging Pokemon in the midst of a chaotic battle.
When is the best time to use the Gatling Gulp Missle Unite move?
The Gatling Gulp Missile is the highest damage per second unite move in the game. It allows Cramorant to continually use its boosted attacks from a considerable distance.
It is best used behind allies and/or under Grasses while fighting for an important objective, Drednaw, Rotom, or Zapdos. It can also be used to barrage enemies as they are trying to score or defend.
Did You Know?
Cramorant is a gluttonous Pokemon and would swallow its meal whole. It is a loyal Pokemon but not when it comes to food as it will attack its trainer if it tries to steal food from them.
